What’s New in DialLink: MCP Server
Explore the latest updates in DialLink: MCP server connects AI voice agents with your business systems.
Imagine your scheduling app reminding clients about appointments, or your CRM automatically following up with leads at the right time — all without you lifting a finger. This month’s update transforms your AI voice agents from simple assistants into active participants in your workflows, enabling your business applications to trigger AI agents for outbound calls.
Interested? Let’s dive into what’s new this month.
Allow your business applications to initiate AI calls with MCP server

Last month, we introduced MCP integrations that let AI voice agents connect with your daily business tools to retrieve data, update records, and perform requested actions. Now, with the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, you can take this further: any MCP-compatible tool can retrieve a list of your AI voice agents and ask them to initiate outbound calls.
This enables deeper integration of AI agents into complex, cross-platform workflows, so external tools can coordinate with AI agents to automate outreach, connect with customers at the right time, and keep interactions in sync across systems.
Examples of what you can do with the new MCP servers:
- Streamline appointment reminders: When an appointment is approaching, your scheduling system can trigger an AI voice agent to call the client with a reminder. If changes occur, the agent can offer alternative time slots. This keeps schedules organized and reduces no-shows.
- Automate sales follow-ups: Let CRM updates or lead scoring changes trigger AI voice agents to follow up with prospects in real time.
- Customer support follow-ups: Connect your helpdesk or ticketing system via MCP server to trigger AI calls when ticket statuses change, ensuring customers get timely updates or requests for more information.
- Payment reminders and renewals: Integrate your billing or subscription system to trigger AI voice agents when payments are overdue or renewals are approaching. Agents can share details, answer common questions, and guide customers to payment options.
